Before disconnecting electronics, label each cord (input in, video out, etc.) so you will know how to reconnect them.
If possible, scope out your new neighborhood.
Drive around to familiarize yourself with the places that you will frequent, such as: grocery store, bank, post office, gas station, pharmacy, pizza place, shopping center, etc.

The two-guy team treated all of our furniture and belongings with the utmost respect, and they were extremely careful about the walls and flooring in both the home we were moving out of, as well as the new one.
They showed up right on time, and while the move took longer than we had expected (because we needed help with more stuff than we had realized), they worked incredibly hard to get done as quickly as possible, and stayed as long as the job required.
A family member, who was there with us on moving day, has now hired Five Pointe for her own move in the coming weeks.

Yes, you need to be present on moving day.
If you cannot be there, you can elect to have another responsible adult to be there.
The movers will need to have paperwork signed at the beginning and at the end of the move.
You will need to guide the movers and be available for any questions during the moving process.
Once the truck is loaded, you will need to do a walk through to be sure all requested items are loaded.
At the delivery location, you will need to tell the movers where you would like the furniture to be placed.
