If you are looking for a professional and reliable moving company then look no further. These guys helped me with my local move back in 2017 and I had a good experience with them. So I decided to work with them to help me with move from MA to NJ. Promptly responded to my queries, provided me with a quote which was lower than most of the other movers.

On the day of the move, Vlad and Eugen showed up right on time. These guys are pro's and know in and out of the moving business. They packed everything with care and loaded the truck in just two hours. They took extra care to make sure that each of our boxes/stuff reached their appropriate rooms at our new place in NJ. All of our moving stuff was intact with no damage whatsoever! Both Vlad and Eugen are professional/knowledgeable/hard working and deserve every bit of appreciation. Would definitely consider working with them in the future!

I cannot recommend Born to Move enough. Incredibly efficient, careful, and nice. Moved an entire apartments worth of boxes and furniture from a storage unit into our new apt in only a few hours. The team of Vlad, Jared, and Kostiya were a pleasure to work with and eliminated the stress that comes with moving. This was our 3rd time working with Born to Move and it won't be our last.

The team from born to move was amazing - they were able to take our 2 bedroom very full apartment into our new home quickly in the rain and were professional the whole time. Jenya, Tinken, and David were awesome and got everything all set up for us across the multiple floors of our house!

Vlad and Igor did the moving for us. Both were very professional and efficient, did our loading and unloading in just 3.5 hrs for a 2bhk apartment. Really grateful to have them today. The company seems very ethical, they broke something minor and did give a discount for it. Also the policies, price, terms etc. are very clear and you can have the piece of mind and trust them.

Responded immediately and were able to move cross-country in one week - only moved my things; I didn't even have to share a truck. They took extreme care in packing and unpacking, never complained when moving into a 3-bedroom walk-up and were a great value - less than all the other quotes I received. Had to move all new furniture into my 3rd floor apartment. Born to Move was extremely professional and very skilled. They were able to quickly maneuver large couches up three flights of stairs and not damaging anything. Really nice guys and a reliable company. Will definitely use Born to Move in the future.

The best Boston moving company! So cautious about wrapping every piece of furniture so that nothing gets damaged in the move. We moved into a house on Nantucket and they were with us the entire way across the 2-day move-in. It was arduous but the move was done by 7PM Saturday! Professional and focused on delivering top notch service. We hired Born to Move twice and in both cases we have been extremely satisfied with the quality of service: care in packaging, moving and unwrapping all items; professional disassembly and re-assembly of pieces of furniture (bed, table); strong working ethics. We used Born to Move to move from Cambridge to South End. They were extremely communicative and easy to work with. They also took great care of our items (including wrapping woods furniture in moving blankets), and they even hauled our sofa through our second floor window because it wouldn't fit up the staircase. I couldn't recommend them highly enough!

Great service for interstate (MA to GA) move. Long story short, the movers that we previously booked didn't show up on two consecutive days and were giving us the runaround. I called Born to Move and while they weren't able to come the same day, they promptly came the following morning and delivered our belongings in 2 days. Very competitive, flat rate for the distance and the size of our apartment.

Would definitely recommend if traveling in the New England to Southeast corridor. Also, we boxed up nearly everything which made the move easier (for us and them) and they did a good job wrapping furniture and other fragile pieces.

We super appreciated there professionalism and help with our move; and we know our friends appreciate not having to help us haul our stuff up to our new house (its on a quite large hill). The guys were great from start to finish. Easy to contact, and always returned my calls in a timely manner. They were flexible with my move date, even when I was forced to change it the day before. The movers worked hard and with care, and were very Profesional. The quote was honest and very reasonable. I Would highly recommend their services, as they were fantastic with my move from Boston to NYC.

UPDATE 7/7/21: Born to Move reached out and after hearing about our situation and offered us a significant partial refund which covered the costs for assembly and damages. We also received an offer from one of the movers to come by the next to assembly the remaining furniture-we had already assembled the furniture, but appreciated the gesture. I really appreciate that they reached out to make the situation right after our experience. 7/3/21 Extremely disappointed with service today.

My experience was consistent with the other one star rating reviews. The movers told us they would arrive between 10am-12pm, but arrived at two different times with two different vehicles at 12:30 and 2:30, for our July move from NYC to Boston. I had reserved permitted parking in front of our new building between 12-8pm, allowing for ample buffer time.

Because they were so late, the reserved parking had expired once they arrived and that made the move much more difficult. While unloading and moving in the furniture, they damaged a desk, which we later discovered was actually broken earlier during disassembly. They also did not stay to assemble the furniture, instead told us to provide our own tools to two much younger movers who did not know what they were doing.

Since we did not have tools, we were told they would come back shortly and assemble only our bed. They arrived nearly an hour and a half later, and took two hours to assemble a very simple IKEA bed that came with directions, finally leaving around 1am. Due to a total lack of punctuality and professionalism, I would really stay away from this company.

The time was a major setback, and it only escalated from there. I also tipped each worker, five in total from the three I was told would be working the move, and I really regret this since they took very little care with our items and were very late.

We had a complicated move from NYC to Boston with 2 additional stops. The movers carefully protected the large times and managed to fit a huge number of small items into the same truck. We were impressed with their diligence and attention to detail.

Born to Move provided me a stress-free, easy, and reliable relocation! I had a full-service moving package. I used them for storage purposes as well, and they were able to think ahead at each step. When I arrived to my new place everything was there and in the condition it left in. They brought over all my things safely and nothing was broken. Everything was unloaded with care too.

The process gave me no stress, and I'm an easily stressed person. I made the right choice using Born to Move. They went so fast up and down all my stairs. I'm glad I got a quote over the phone, and that they worked with and stayed within my budget. I am pretty set up now in my current living situation, but I will recommend them to friends and will use them should I choose to move again.

It went well, despite having to pay more for insurance of the property as only several large boxes contained historical documents and had to be properly sealed against all sorts of things that could go wrong. Fortunately, nothing went wrong but it cost a pretty penny in the process. But to receive what I did from Born To Move was more than helpful and gracious from the emails and phone calls made to them.

I was quite pleased to receive everything intact and can tell that by the condition of the boxes/freight that even though there were scuffs and slight damage, the contents were still preserved and wrapped properly because of the historical significance of the period pieces.

For the price, these guys are amazing. I wasn't sure what to expect because I have never moved before- but they answered all of my questions and they were very prompt. The entire process was really easy, as it should be. I didn't have to lift a finger the entire time. I was really, really worried about my stuff the entire time but everything arrived safely and on time! Thanks a ton to Born to Move for making my life that much easier. I will be using them when I move back home at the end of the school year.

Born to Move were a fantastic help to us. We were moving from an apartment we rented into a house we had purchased. Because our new home was being completely renovated, many of our items had to be stored in the basement and they were really easy to work with as we figured out which items needed to be stored and which should be put in the main house.

They did the whole job quickly and with a smile on their face on an incredibly hot day at the end of June. They were also affordable and super easy to work with in the lead up to the move. I appreciated their prompt reply times, their friendliness on the day of the move, and their willingness to deal with my quirks. Moving is the worst- but Born to Move made it easier.

Packing was absolutely outstanding! We have been moving nation wide and internationally over the past 15 years from Asia, Australia, Europe and US and Born to Move team has been far the best team we have ever work with.

The move was great, despite the frigid weather. The guys showed up within fifteen minutes of the scheduled time and handled my stuff with great care. When I moved years ago, I used unlicensed movers I found on Craigslist, but it wasn't so smooth and didn't go so great. I enjoyed the opposite experience with Born To Move because they genuinely seemed to respect my belongings and treated them as though they were their own.

And they seemed to know the Boston area fairly well, so there was no need for elaborate directions. Overall, the move was pretty stress-free. I didn't have a ton of stuff to move, but I was still pleasantly surprised how efficiently things went. I'd definitely recommend this company for any moves in the Greater Boston area.
