Set aside a small container or box for your valuables such as important papers, keys, medicine and things of importance that you don't want displaced during your move.
Keep this box with you through out your move.
Disconnect all appliances.
Remove loose fittings and accessories on large appliances.
Pack small appliances in boxes cushioned with packing paper.
Small electronics such as computers, DVD player, stereo's and small TV's should be packed upright in boxes with enough padding on all sides.
