We have one fully-equipped 24 foot moving truck, and one fully-equipped 16 foot moving truck, with full-size quilted moving blankets, straps, shrink-wrap, floor protection, and tools for disassembly/reassembly. We may not be the biggest company in the metro, but our movers have Van Lines experience, both local and over-the-road.
We will make your move easy and affordable, because we are fast, careful & conscientious movers. Touch-A-Truck is a family event sponsored by the Aurora Parks and Recreation. GrassRoots Moving LLC is proud to say that we have been the only moving company to participate in this annual event since 2012-2019. Overall had a great experience with Grass Roots. Easy to work with and straight forward. Their pricing was unbeatable. The team they sent was kind and hardworking. A few of the challenges were underestimating the time and/or resources for our move, arriving late, some minor damages caused during the move and some items left at the old home that we had to go back for. The team tried their best to work hard and fast, and barely took any breaks. Though in moving quickly they put quite a few things in the wrong places or didn't ask for direction.

I rarely give a 5-Star review but these guys are awesome! I try to support local businesses whenever I can. Squirrel and his 2 coworkers (I feel bad that I didn't get everyone's name) were friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful of my things. Above all, the value! For a move from Aurora to Northglenn, I did my due diligence got several estimates. Most of them quoted me between 700-1200 for 3 hours. And when I called to ask questions, I learned that there would be additional hidden fees not included in those estimate. Grassroots quoted me at $450. I ended up paying about a hundred more because we went over my allotted time frame (Denver traffic, am I right?!) Thank you, guys!

With the many different moving companies around, it was difficult to find the best service provider. I went with grassroots and wow, is all I can say. They over exceeded my expectations. I won't look for another moving company every again. Grassroots has my business from here on out. Great rates, great service! Amazing Amazing and very satisfied. I highly recommend grassroots for any moves you may have.

GrassRoots was very responsive, informative, and straightforward about their moving provisions and pricing from the beginning. They arrived on time and swiftly/carefully loaded and unloaded everything, no damage whatsoever. I got a discount for paying cash and, with a minimum of 2 hours required (and necessary anyway), they wrapped up right on time. Can't recommend highly enough.

This company is fantastic. We have used them 5 times now since moving to CO in 2012. They are always on time and their movers work hard to get the job done. This time we needed them to move all of our upstairs furniture to our basement as floors are being installed. At completion of the flooring Grass Roots movers will be back to move all the furniture back upstairs again.
We have been extremely pleased with their service and highly recommend them.

I had never hired a moving company prior so I wasn't sure of what to expect. Grassroots responded quickly to my request for a quote and accommodated the date.
The movers were punctual, friendly and most importantly very efficient. They worked quickly and conscientiously.
The other thing that I truly appreciated is that they requested the review and how many times I've thought about writing a review due to amazing service and then after a few moments as time passed it was forgotten.
I chose grassroots based on reviews and they're a small company that deserves recognition and it's very apparent they work as a team.
I'd highly recommend Grassroots,

GrassRoots did a decent job doing a local move for us. Everything got here, but it wasn't a five-star experience. They worked to fix the mess ups, but I've had much better moves in the past. That being said, I appreciate their commitment to making things right.
We had a pretty simple move - just furniture for three miles. We moved all our boxes ourselves, so we only needed our furniture moved and reassembled. The movers showed up right on time and were polite, but they were not nearly as well-versed with furniture as other movers we've used. They didn't come with the right tools to take our furniture apart, so they did it with brute force. It wasn't pretty, but it came apart.
When unloading at our new place, it got here, but the reassembly was as bad as it gets. One of our beds was literally almost balancing upright, and I can't see how any moving company could think that was the right way to leave it. The other beds are OK, but not bad enough to cause a stink about.
I called GrassRoots the next day, and they immediately offered to send their preferred handyman out to fix it. He came out early the next morning, tightened everything up, and our bed was back to normal. So while it wasn't right the first time, they made it right. I appreciate that.
Billing was fair, and they don't round up to the next hour (think it's the nearest 15 minutes), which was a pleasant surprise. I paid cash to save some money on the hourly rate, and I'd suggest that you do the same.
GrassRoots could improve their service by doing the little things better:
- Bring booties to wear inside or cover the floors, not just the entrance. We had just gotten our carpets cleaned, and our movers trekked the outdoors all over our freshly cleaned carpets. We paid $300 to have our carpets cleaned, and immediately had boots all over them.
- Bring a wide variety of tools for furniture.
- Allow the customers to check the quality of the furniture assembly before the movers leave.
- Wrap furniture in blankets, not just plastic. There was a lot of banging around, and one of our beds ended up with a deep gash on the frame. This should easily be avoided, but we were just too exhausted to fight for this one.
That being said, it got done. The price felt fair. They (mostly) fixed the things that went wrong, and they showed up on time. I wouldn't give GrassRoots a glowing recommendation, but it was ultimately a pretty ok experience.
